Redmond Technology Center and Massy Advanced Technology Center

Strong Worldwide Partnerships

To meet the needs of the worldwide deregulated market, these start-of-the-art research and engineering centers in the USA and France are dedicated to improving the management of power flows.

Improving Power Grid Reliability
Increasing concerns about power disturbances led AREVA T&D to develop
e-terravision, a reliable, user-friendly system to monitor power grid status and anticipate shortages.

Transmitting Massive Bulk Power
Expanding urban and industrial centers worldwide require increasing amounts of electricity from power plants located far away. Ultra High-Voltage (UHV) substations meet this need. We are building India’s first UHV substation for its largest utility company. 80% of New Delhi's electricity will be transmitted onto the grid thanks to this substation.
